The villa is located 10/15 minutes walk from the Piazzetta and the centre of Capri town and from its position there are fantastic panoramic views over the entire area of Capri town and the little Bay of Marina Piccola.
Villa Il Fortino can be reached by a walking path. Leading though the historical centre up to the villa or along a more step path with steps from the centre. 164 steps takes you from the path up to the main entrance of the property. Only the panoramic views, its perfumed gardens and the garden with the pool are worth the entire walk up to the villa, wxhiohs also takes the advantage of an enormous outdoor panoramic space of about 1000 sq.ft.
Ground floor: The entrance door leads into the living room, furnished with glass topped table, 2 sofas seating 3 people and fireplace. Also adorned by pieces of antique wooden furniture and the outmost beautiful paintings of the German painter Diefenbach, who was an important personality and artist, who lived on the island at the beginning on the 19th century and who also has a small museum dedicated him inside of the Charterhouse of Sant Giacomo in Capri town.
The living-room opens onto the dining area furnished with a large dining table seating 8 people. 3 windows faces the beautiful garden. Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, 5 coves and oven.

First floor: 21 steps leads up to the first floor, which makes it up for the sleeping area, consisting in 5 bedrooms all with large marble en-suite facilities. 1 twin bedded room with small window and inbuilt wardrobe. Small bath with shower box decorated with beautifully painted wall paper. Double bed room with iron beds, fireplace and window facing the Sea. Bathroom with tub and window. Master bedroom with Baldachin bed and fireplace. The room has access onto a small terrace by French doors, which has an inbuilt stone bench for seating and which is shaded by a Pergolato. Bath with bathtub. Also separate wardrobe niche. Double room with twin beds, inbuilt wardrobe and small tiny window. Access through sliding doors onto the bathroom with shower box. Double room with iron beds, inbuilt wardrobe and two windows offering sea view and en-suite bath. Extra bath room in the corridor. One of the bedrooms can be converted into a twin bedded room.
2nd floor accesses enormous outdoor terrace enormous outdoor space (about 1,000 sq. ft), views, dining tables, hammocks, benches, lounge chairs, swimming pool (5x7, but very shallow; cant dive about 4 ft. deep), night lights outside. Great outdoor dining facility.
Terraces and pool area:
The second floor accesses and enormous paved terrace, wherefrom you can admire wonderful views of the area of Castiglione, Monte di Capri and towards the Chartehouse of San Giacomo and the Bay of Marina Piccola. The views are gorgous, especially at night when the entire little village is lighted up, offers enchanting views and a very romantic atmosphere.
The terrace, with night light, is partly shaded and with white columns lining up the space is the ideal place spending your time in the beautiful outdoor environment. The terrace is furnished with a ceramic topped iron table for dining and 12 wooden lounge chairs, hammocks, table and chairs.
17 steps leads up to the upper lying terrace, equipped with outdoor shower. The pool ( 7 mt x 5 mt x 4ft deep) is set in a surely panoramic position overlooking the island. The garden is planted with geranio and has a corner equipped with sun umbrellas, tables and chairs.
A path of steps leads up though a very cared terraces garden, located on different levels. The garden is planted with a wonderful mix of fruit trees such as olives and lemons, and cactuses and flowers of the island. A lines of white columns, so typical for the caprese-style, shaded by flowers, welcomes the guests by the entrance.
